About Me
I have a large and loving family and it is a thrill for me to be there to share your memorable celebration. The day of your marrige is one of the most special days of your life and I love helping you make it unique and unforgettable. I have been part of all kinds of ceremonies - from the traditional to the wildly original, from 5 people to 500 people. All have filled me with a sense of optimism for the future and confirmed for me the old adage " Love makes the world go around." In my time as a celebrant I have met lovely people, made wonderful friends and gone on to be part of the naming ceremonies of their children. I am truly blessed to spend my working life with people at the happiest time of their lives.
I became a registered celebrant after a career in business and teaching. In addition, my experience as a relationship counsellor has taught me to listen empathically and to calmly support couples through an exciting and sometimes challenging part of their lives.
My language skills enable me to specialise in BI-LINGUAL WEDDINGS where I am happy to repeat crucial parts of the ceremony in a variety of other languages. This is always welcomed enthusiastically by the foreign guests who otherwise would be feeling lost and left out.
I believe that our relationships are the most important thing in our lives. Marriage, children, family and home - this is where the heart is.
